Resistor: Resistor is a passive element Resistance
is the opposition to current flow in various degrees. The practical unit
of resistance is called the ohm (Ω).
To describe the resistance
of a resistor and hence it’s characteristic, it is important to define ohm’s
law.
By ohms law:
Conductance:Conductance (G) is the
exact opposite of resistance.in mathematically
Where G is
measure in Siemens (S) and sometime also represent by the unit (Ʊ)
Capacitor: a capacitor is a passive element that has capacity
to store charge in an electric field.it is widely used in electric circuit in
the form of a filter.
By equation
Where C is
the capacitance measured in Farads (F) and v (0) is the initial
voltage or charge stored in the capacitor.
Inductor: an inductor is a piece of conducting wire generally
wrapped around a core of a ferromagnetic materials like capacitor, they are
employed as filtering as well but the most well-known application is their use
in AC transformers or power supplies that convert AC voltage level.
